Good morning,

A few updates for you.  This is mostly information for the HS aged teams with regards to the National events in early spring.  I will send specific info for the 07’s and 06’s soon.

1.  Last session of the year tomorrow night at McAllister – I will have my brand new Christmas suit being on display!  

2. Florida National Event – January:

For the 04 & 03 ECNL teams we will train only on Sunday Jan 5th from 2pm-4pm. 

Venue TBD.  Any players NOT playing HS soccer this season please touch base with me ASAP as we have a plan for those players. Just need numbers.  

3. Texas National Event – February:

For all the HS aged teams they will train ONLY on Sunday February 9th from 2pm-4pm.  Venue TBD.

Like every year this is an event that has been on the calendar since August.  Last year we ran into a few issues regarding players telling us the week of the event that they had HS games or couldnt play on one date etc.  As a staff we are in full agreement that if any of the girls cannot play in all 3 games then they do not play at all.  For an important event like this allowing the kids to play on the Friday night is a risk with regards to the recovery etc.  Clubs such as Albion do not let their kids play in their Friday night games.  We want the kids to make their own decisions but we do expect 100% commitment on that weekend.  Any issues please communicate with us ASAP.  

We have only the 1 session per event to minimize the load on the players bodies.  We have tried in years gone by to do more and its pointless.  Last year we did one session… the girls were excited to see each other then put in good performances at the weekend so fingers crossed that works again.  However, if any of the girls WANT to get an extra couple of sessions in we can easily have them come out and train with our NON HS players.  Again just communicate this with me and I can set that up.  

4. Attached is a little visual recap of the fall season.  Just an update on how all the teams did and a little side note for each team.
